Mission Statement
Brave Enrichments the Co-operative Learning Group exists to support families as they exercise their educational freedoms in home-educating their children.
We desire to build a strong, connected community of independently homeschooling families and cultivate an environment where we foster a love of learning and respect for each other.
Philosophy
-
We are not a school. Each family is ultimately responsible for grading in the manner they choose (although corrected assignments will be given when applicable). This co-op was formed to be a community of parents providing support to each other and fostering relationships for our children as they independently homeschool their children.
-
We seek to function as a cooperative effort. As such, each family should be willing and seeking ways to serve the co-op, even if you have chosen a drop-off option. This is crucial to the success of the co-op.
-
While we are not affiliated with any religion, all of our classes and activities will be respectful of the space we are blessed with using. This means we respect the Salvation Army’s mission and the Tabernacle space we utilize. Classes taught may contain a biblical worldview, but will never be forced on members to adopt as their own.
-
Honesty, integrity, and respect are paramount in our co-op environment. This means honesty to the leaders and teachers as well as fellow members, integrity in our actions and efforts in learning environments and social settings, and respect for our leaders and our fellow members in our speech and our actions.
